Outline
This 3-day workshop (2 initial days + 1 follow-up day) addresses these issues by offering an introduction to an evidence-based approach, incorporating DCP criteria & subsuming CBT supervision. It focuses mainly on CBT supervision, drawing on literature reviews, expert consensus and preliminary R&D work over the past 5 years to specify competent supervision. Developments in supervision within the NHS are also a topic, especially the IAPT initiative (i.e. high volume 'clinical case supervision'; the use of outcome monitoring).
