Training Events

The video recordings of CPD events on this site are freely available to members of the Division of Clinical Psychology of the BPS. Until 1 January 2009 members of other divisions of the BPS will also have access to the video downloads of the CPD events. After that date this will only be available to DCP members and members of other divisions that have purchased this service from the DCP.

In 2008 we will start with regular seminars in three streams:

  1. How to...
    for Clinical Psychologists at the beginning of their career: report writing, surviving in a multi-disciplinary team, conducting a functional analysis, do motivational interviewing, compose a formulation, produce evidence based clinical psychology
  2. Everything you want to know about...
    for Clinical Psychologists in a more advanced stage in their career: clinical psychology and the elderly; forensics for clinical psychologists
  3. Complex situations and cases...
    Focused on more complex problems and situations like Personality disorder and learning disability
